Soooooo . This Country Plan (Not Gonna Lie) i HATED it At First . i Didnt Like The Colors That Jesus Picked For it , Because it Just Seemed Too , Hm , Flashy . Like Really ? Were Choosing Bright Green , Yellow , And Hot Pink When Were Talking About Malnourished Children in Rwanda ? Naaaw . Just Didnt Seem Right . But Paired With The Beautiful Background Pictures , it Looked Amazing . Other Countries Had Good Plans Too , But i Really Thought Our Country’s Plan Really Tied in With Our Culture(:

WINNING TEAM BABY(:
im So Proud Of All The Work Jesus , Karen And Myself Did . i Was Also Really Shocked That We Ended Up Taking First Place . That Morning , i Was A Nervous Wreck , Hoping i Wouldnt Forget Anything im Supposed To Say , Hoping The Judges Wouldnt Be Too Harsh On Us , Hoping The PSA (That i Made The Night Before Presentations) Was Good Enough , And Just Having An Utter Amount Of Confidence in Our Team . i Knew They Were Counting On Me , Jesus , Karen , And ESPECIALLY Ms. Paul . Ohhh Man . i Actually Thought She Was Getting A Little Doubtful That We’d Even Finish , But We Not Only Finished , We WON . When Randy Called Off All The Countries That Got Funded , i Was Honestly Getting Scared . The Judges Liked The Preciseness Of Our Project , But Was it Good Enough ? Well At The End , Randy Said “And The Winner Was Completely Unanimous , Rwanda !” As Everyone Saw , i Screeched , Then Broke Down in Tears . i Knew That Hard Work Would Pay Off , But Not As Much As This . We Were PRETTY Behind , And Me Leaving For Vacation The Thursday & Friday Before Presentations Wasnt The Best Thing To Do To Jesus & Karen , But Now We Can Call Ourselves Winners . i Especially Wanna Thank Jesus & Karen Though , For Everything ! Lemme Tell You , This Project Came At SUCH A Bad Time For Me , And i Just Felt Like i Wanted To Say “F**k This Project” But They Helped & Motivated Me To Work On This Project And We Worked Together As A Team . i Also Wanna Thank Ms. Paul , Even Though She Was REALLY Harsh On Me That One Day , And Some Days i Really Was About To Quit This Project , But With Her Help And Criticism , All Three Of Us Got Through it (AND We Are Her First Winning Team !) So This Project Was Challenging , But Amazing in The End(:

So As You Can See , i Have 2 Travel Posters . The Reason For This , is Because i Got Completely Confused With Which Way To Put it , Portrait Or Landscape , So i Just Made 2 (Personally , i Like The Landscape One Better , i Think it Just Came Out Cleaner). For These Travel Posters , i Mainly Used A TON Of Masking , Making Some Sections Of The image Translucent , and i Also Fooled Around With The Text in The Landscape One(:

My First Semester in DSA ! (:
My First Semester in DSA Has Taught Me So Much . The Main Thing i Learned is That i Cant Procrastinate ! i Also Learned Photoshopppp ! That Was One Of The Coolest Things ive Ever Learned . it Taught Me About How Some Pictures Can Be Overexposed And You Have To Fix Them And i Also Learned About Masking And its Freaking Awesome !
Another Really Cool Thing i Loved Learning Was Graphic Design . That Was One Of My Favorite Things to Learn About Because i Got To Customize My Own Stuff Like The i Am From Poem And The Album Cover . Definitely My Favorite (:
Photography , Photography , Photography . This was Definitely Another Favorite Of Mine . Also Very Demanding Of Photoshop . But Most Definately A Favorite .
HOOF ! i Sincerely Loved HOOF . it Really Taught Me About My Family And How Much We Have Grown in The Past What … Hundred Years ? But i Learned Final Cut Pro & That Was Awesome . it Sucked That i Totally Procrastinated Though So My Video Wasnt As Good As i Wanted it But My Family Liked it So it Was Awesome (:

I Am From sweet-smelling Starbucks cups and colorful Hollister clothes. From sky high trees and eye-popping purple flowers.
I Am From the brightly lit football field and the New York-like busy streets. I Am From Mommy, Daddy, Gammie, Grandma, Auntie, and Trevor.
I Am From sayings and quotes. Like “Sorry I Doubted You, Mommy”, “Move Your Meat, Lose Your Seat”, and “Grandma, You NEED Hearing Aids”
I Am From a loving, Portuguese home that always welcomes you at the door with a hug and a kiss. I Am From the sweet aroma of Kale Soup, Salad, and French Bread.
I Am From Memories. Some on my wall, some in a box; but all in my heart. From stories about my past family members, and how they’re stories get carried down to my generation
I Am From Family. Memories. But Most importantly, Love.
